Terms of Service

Last updated: 7/4/26

These Terms govern use of "Roster Bot" (the "Bot"), operated by a single individual (the "Operator") for personal, non-commercial use in a small number of private Discord servers. By remaining in a server where the Bot is active, you agree to these Terms.

Scope

The Bot is made available only in servers the Operator explicitly administers or has added it to. It is not intended for public distribution, and the Operator does not authorize its use outside of these servers.

No Warranty

The Bot is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. The Operator makes no guarantee of uptime, accuracy of generated transcripts or summaries, or data durability.

Changes and Availability

The Operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice.

Acceptable Use

Users must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while interacting with the Bot. The Operator reserves the right to remove the Bot from any server, or restrict a user's access to it, at their discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Bot.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
