This Privacy Policy describes what information "Goliard" (the "Bot") accesses and how it is used. The Bot is operated by a single individual (the "Operator") for personal use in a single private Discord server the Operator administers. It is not publicly distributed or available for addition to other servers. The Bot joins voice channels and plays immersive audio effects sent to it from the Operator's own homelab.
When active in the server, the Bot may access the following information via Discord's API:
The Bot only transmits audio. It does not listen to, record, or store voice audio or the content of text messages, and it does not collect any other personal information.
Information is used solely to operate the Bot's features within the server, i.e. to play immersive audio effects in the correct voice channel. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
The audio played by the Bot is supplied from infrastructure owned and operated by the Operator. No data is sold, shared, or provided to any third party.
Any data stored is kept on infrastructure owned and operated by the Operator and retained only as long as needed to operate the Bot, or until a participant requests removal.
Any member of the server may request a copy of, or the deletion of, data associated with them by contacting the Operator at .siothrun .
The Bot is not directed at, and is not knowingly used to collect information from, children. Access is limited to members of a private server the Operator personally administers.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same URL.
